The variety is a hybrid that, in the 1980–1990s period, demonstrated higher productivity in industrial cultivation compared to traditional open-pollinated varieties. It is characterized by good quality of spears suitable for obtaining high-class marketable produce.

In scientific publications, this hybrid has been repeatedly used as an object for research in the field of tissue culture biotechnology and breeding evaluation. At the present time, the variety is considered an early breeding effort and has been largely superseded by more modern hybrids.
