The Limbras series of varieties is represented by both early forms and forms of the main maturity group. During historical trials, these varieties demonstrated high productivity and quality characteristics of the produce, exceeding the indicators of a number of control samples of that period.
In scientific publications, Limbras 22 and Limbras 26 samples were often used as model objects for genetic research and resistance testing. At present, the varieties of this series are practically not used in commercial production, having given way to modern breeding developments.
