The plant forms dense bushes of lanceolate dark green leaves. The flowers have a bright yellow center; flowering occurs from August to October.
The variety is intended for ornamental landscaping, including use in borders and containers. It is a hardy plant, however, like other asters of this species, it requires good air circulation to prevent powdery mildew.
