Variety description

The plant is an erect bush up to 50 cm tall. The leaves are ovate and medium-green in color, which changes to a reddish hue during the flowering period in autumn.

The lilac-blue or lilac flowers are collected in capitulum inflorescences and have a fragrance. The flowering period lasts from August until the first frosts.

The variety is winter-hardy and low-maintenance. The plant is used in group plantings, grown in containers and rock gardens, and is also a honey plant that attracts bees and bumblebees.
