The variety is classified as New York aster (Aster novi-belgii) and is used as a commercial cut crop for creating bouquets.

Plants of the Astee series, to which this variety belongs, reach a height of about 85 cm. Like other representatives of the species Aster novi-belgii, the variety is prone to fungal diseases, including powdery mildew and rust.
