The plant has a compact, bushy growth habit and reaches a height of 20 to 45 cm. The flowers, of a lilac-blue or lavender-blue shade, have a semi-double form and a yellow center. The flowering period occurs from August to November, depending on the region of cultivation.

The variety is a winter-hardy perennial. Sunny sites with well-drained, fresh soils are preferred for cultivation. The plant is used for decorating flower beds, paths, terraces and is suitable for planting in small gardens.
