Variety description

The plant belongs to perennial herbaceous crops. Plant height varies from 20–30 cm when used as a pot plant to 80–120 cm under other conditions. Leaves are lanceolate in shape with a serrated edge.

Inflorescences are colored in deep purple and light lilac tones; bicolored specimens are often encountered. The variety is susceptible to rust, which is a common feature of Symphyotrichum novi-belgii.
