The professional variety Astee Parade belongs to the perennial New York aster (Symphyotrichum novi-belgii). The plant reaches a height of 60–70 cm, possesses a two-tone flower color, and requires direct sunlight. The variety is intended for commercial cutting, with breeding emphasis placed on vase life, stem structure, and flower shape.

In retail, under the name Parad krasok, a seed mixture of annual asters Callistephus chinensis is found. Such plants have a pyramidal bush shape up to 60 cm in height and are used for flower bed decoration and cutting. This product is a mixture of colors and does not belong to the professional breeding line of asters.
