Variety description

The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant with a height of 60–80 cm. The flowers have a pale pink shade and a double structure of inflorescences, which distinguishes this group from species with simple flowers.

The flowering period of the plant falls within the time interval from August to October. During the selection process, special attention was paid to natural disease resistance to reduce the need for chemical plant protection agents in commercial cultivation.

In retail seed sales, confusion often arises where annual asters (Callistephus chinensis), which are unrelated to this professional variety, may be offered under the name «Pink Milka».
