Variety description

The plant forms a compact, low-growing bush with a height of 30 to 50 cm. Leaves are pinnately compound: in spring they have a reddish-maroon or bronze shade, in summer they become dark green with a maroon edge. Wine-red peduncles bear fluffy paniculate inflorescences of a bright pink or carmine-pink shade.

Flowering is abundant and prolonged, lasting from June or July to August or September. The variety possesses good winter hardiness (USDA zone 4) and high resistance to leaf spot, powdery mildew, and root rot.

Cultivation requires moist, fertile soils and partial shade or shaded areas. The plant tolerates planting near water bodies well, does not tolerate drought, and does not require winter covering. It is used in borders, mixed borders, rock gardens, container landscaping, and is suitable for cut flowers.
