Variety description

The plant belongs to the Astilbe × arendsii hybrid group. It forms a compact bush with a height from 0.5 to 1 meter. The stems are erect and dark red in color. The leaves are glossy, dark green, serrated, and deeply dissected.
Flowering occurs in mid-summer, forming dense, branched, pink panicles. The variety is intended for shady and semi-shady flower beds, woodland gardens, and container cultivation.
It prefers moist, well-drained soils. It is not a drought-tolerant plant and requires constant moisture when grown in the sun. Susceptibility to leaf spot and powdery mildew is possible.
