Variety description

The plant's foliage retains a rich chocolate-burgundy or dark purple shade throughout the entire growing season. The paniculate inflorescences consist of small creamy-pink flowers located on dark flower stalks.

The height of the bush is 35–50 cm, reaching 50–70 cm including the flower stalks. Flowering occurs in July–August. The plant possesses winter hardiness of USDA zones 3–4, is resistant to lodging, and requires regular watering.

The variety prefers partial shade but can grow in the sun provided that the soil is constantly moist. It combines well with hostas and ferns and is suitable for use in mixed borders, group plantings, and containers.
