Variety description

The plant forms a dense, compact rosette 30–60 cm tall. The leaves are arching and lacy. The variety is deciduous; the above-ground part dies back during the winter period.

The plant is winter-hardy in USDA zones 4–9 and possesses resistance to diseases, including Verticillium wilt. The variety is not prone to lodging and prefers partial shade or shaded areas with moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil.

Used in landscape design for shady flower beds, mixed borders, woodland gardens, pond edge planting, and container cultivation. Requires the maintenance of stable soil moisture.
