Variety description

A perennial plant 50–60 cm in height and 60–90 cm in width. The fronds have a silvery-gray shade, purple petioles and central veins; in the spring, young leaves have a more intense purple color. The main morphological feature of the variety is the double crested leaf tips.
The plant is deciduous, characterized by vigorous growth and forms a dense rosette. It possesses high winter hardiness in USDA zones 3–8 and resistance to diseases and pests. It is used in landscape design for decorating shaded gardens, borders, mixed borders, and container plantings.
