Variety description

The plant forms dense compact clumps of evergreen foliage, reaching a height of 10 to 20 cm. It is characterized by short internodes and profuse flowering, which lasts for several weeks.

The flowers are solitary, of a deep lavender-purple shade, and have a characteristic small yellow eye in the center. The flowering period falls in the spring months from March to May.

The variety is used in ornamental gardening for landscaping alpine slides, borders, and container gardening.
