Variety description

The plant forms compact cushion-shaped clumps. Leaves are small, ovate or oblong in shape, pubescent, with possible serrated edges. Leaf coloration is decorative: grey-green with a characteristic yellow margin.

Flowers are small, four-petaled, lilac in hue, gathered in short inflorescences. The flowering period falls between mid-spring and early summer.

The variety prefers sunny sites with southern or western exposure. Requires well-drained calcareous, loamy or sandy soils. Suitable for use in rockeries, rock gardens, borders and container gardening.
