The variety belongs to the spring sowing group and is characterized by average vegetation, heading, and ripening periods. The grain is hulless, non-glumed, with an increased thousand kernel weight. The plant exhibits good tolerance to soil acidification and moderate resistance to lodging.
In the chemical composition of the grain, protein content is about 15.7%, and fat is about 9.8% in dry matter. The variety is intended primarily for feed purposes, including rations for poultry and horses, and is also used in the food industry. The yield of the variety is approximately 70–75% of the yield of traditional hulled varieties.
Studies noted the variety's susceptibility to Helminthosporium blight and rust, although some commercial descriptions characterize it as resistant to fungal diseases.
