The variety is a winter form of oat obtained by crossing the Mascani variety with breeding material 2009-215. The plants are short-stemmed, with a height of approximately 103 cm; the variety possesses very high lodging resistance and slightly later maturity dates compared to the Mascani variety.
The grain is characterized by high bulk density (55.3 kg/hl) and a kernel content of approximately 74.9%, which ensures good processing performance during dehulling in the milling industry. Disease resistance is rated as moderate for crown rust and low for powdery mildew.
