The variety belongs to the early-maturing group. Its yield under production conditions is 5.5–6.5 t/ha, and up to 7.0 t/ha under experimental conditions. The plants possess a marked ability for regeneration and tillering, and also demonstrate high adaptability to stressful climatic factors, including drought.

The grain of the variety contains more than 13% crude protein and essential amino acids. The low husk content allows the product to be used in the food industry and feed production, including the creation of nutritional mixtures for haylage. The variety is suitable for organic farming.
