The oat variety Hedvig (full name Weibulls Hedvig) is a breeding achievement focused on combating infestation of crops by the cereal cyst nematode (Heterodera avenae). It is mentioned in agronomic publications as one of the first Swedish varieties of the crop with such a characteristic.

In available scientific literature, the variety is considered primarily in the context of breeding history and phytosanitary properties. Detailed morphological traits of the plant and quantitative indicators of grain quality are not reflected in the publications.
