The variety is intended primarily for forage purposes, although in a number of regions it can be used as a commercial crop. It belongs to the category of early or mid-early varieties.

During the breeding process, priority was given to increasing yield and resistance to a complex of diseases, including powdery mildew, crown rust, Fusarium, and nematodes. The grain is characterized by high quality indicators, in particular, the content of beta-glucans and fat in the dry matter.
