The variety belongs to the late-maturing group. It is distinguished by very strong waxy bloom on the glumes.

The grain possesses high antioxidant activity. The variety exhibits high resistance to Fusarium graminearum infection, which contributes to low deoxynivalenol levels, however, it is at risk of HT-2 and T-2 mycotoxin accumulation when infected by the fungus Fusarium langsethiae.
