The variety is a winter oat. In agronomic studies, it was often used as a control sample when examining grain quality and forage characteristics, including acid detergent fiber and neutral detergent fiber values.
In experiments on the use of growth regulators, such as chlormequat, the variety demonstrated stable grain characteristics. Regarding lodging resistance, the variety served as a baseline for comparison with newer breeding lines, and in the context of phytopathology, it was considered in terms of its susceptibility to powdery mildew.
