THIERRY MOMONT
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the winter oat type. It is characterized by resistance to stem nematode, inherited from the Grey Winter line. In field trials, it was often used as a standard for evaluating the effect of nitrogen fertilizers and growth regulators on yield and morphological indicators of the panicle.
It is sensitive to the effects of growth regulators, such as chlormequat chloride, the application of which causes changes in plant structure and grain number. In breeding practice, the variety served as a parental form for the development of new crops, and its embryos were used as model material for developing tissue regeneration techniques under laboratory conditions.
