The variety is a hulless oat. Unlike common hulled varieties, its husk does not become lignified and separates easily during threshing.

The variety was intended for use as a fodder crop due to its high energy value, as well as for the milling industry. In comparative studies conducted in Central Europe, the variety demonstrated a higher yield of clean grain compared to hulled varieties.
