THIERRY MOMONT

Rychlik is not a modern variety with current agronomic characteristics. It is historical material that included local forms such as Rychlik Lubelski, Rychlik Oberek, Rychlik Trybański, and Rychlik Kozarowski, which were cultivated in the Lublin region and Podlaskie.
These forms were used by breeders in the late 19th century to develop the first registered Polish oat varieties, for example, the Sobieszyński variety. In modern practice, this material is considered exclusively as an object for the study of genetic resources and breeding history.
