The Rumak variety was bred at the Plant Breeding Station in Rogaczewo. During the breeding process, the genetic material of lines MGH 6374 and Flamingsweiss II was used.
The variety was used for agricultural research, including analysis of yield, morphological traits, and the influence of sowing density on productivity. In scientific and technical publications, the variety also served as an object for studying grain chemical composition, particularly protein and fat content, when compared with other cereals and wild oat forms.
