The variety has yellow grains. The thousand kernel weight is about 27.2 g, grain bulk density is about 79.2 kg/hl.

A relatively high content of beta-glucan and vitamin B1 is noted in the grain. The variety is used as a forage crop, a model object for food technology research on grain fractionation, and in experiments on intercropping with legumes.
