The variety belongs to the hulled oat species. The panicle is equilateral with branches positioned from semi-erect to horizontal. The spikelets have a drooping position, and awns are very weakly expressed or absent. The glumes of the caryopsis are short, and the waxy bloom is weak.

The variety is used as a grain forage crop. During trials, it showed high resistance to crown rust and a low level of infection with loose smut (up to 3%), while susceptibility to powdery mildew was noted.
