The variety is a spring oat and is traditional for Croatia. Recommended sowing dates correspond to agronomic standards for spring crops in this region and occur at the end of February or in March.

In scientific publications, the variety is mentioned in the context of grain chemical composition analysis, in particular, as a source of biologically active substances, such as beta-glucans. The plant is traditionally cultivated as a cereal crop for subsequent use for food and feed purposes.
