The variety was created by the Vetrov breeding station and adapted to the harsh climatic conditions of the Sumava mountain range. The name of the variety originates from the geographical name of this region.
Modern agronomic characteristics of the plant, such as height or disease resistance, are absent in open databases. The variety is preserved in genetic banks as a specimen for scientific research.
