The variety is universal and is used for forage purposes, including direct grazing, hay and silage harvesting, as well as a cover crop for improving soil structure and weed control. The plant is distinguished by its height, thin stems, and developed leafiness, which contributes to high-quality soil surface cover.
The variety is late-maturing, with a long vegetation cycle of about 134 days, which allows for an extended period of forage use and soil cover duration. The variety has the ability to suppress Pratylenchus nematodes and demonstrates good sanitary resistance to diseases, although it may be moderately susceptible to rust and Helminthosporium.
Crop residues of the variety decompose slowly, which has a positive effect on soil structure when using no-till technology. The crop is not winter-hardy and is sensitive to temperature drops below -4...-5 °C.
