The variety is mid-early, the period from full germination to technical maturity ranges from 75 to 105 days. The plant is medium-sized, with large oval green-red leaves having a slightly wavy margin.

The root crops have a cylindrical shape and a smooth surface, colored dark red. They are easily pulled from the soil as they are shallowly submerged. The mass of one fruit varies from 200 to 330 grams.

The flesh of the root crop is dark red, juicy and tender, with barely noticeable rings and a high sugar content. The variety is characterized by uniform harvest formation and disease resistance.

MONA is universal in its application: it is used for fresh consumption, cooking, canning, and winter storage. The variety is also suitable for cultivation for bunching production.
