The variety is a leaf chard with petioles. The leaves are green with red shades, have pronounced red veins, and a medium degree of crinkling. The stem petioles are red and have a medium thickness.

The plant has an upright habit; the bush height is approximately 50–60 cm. The variety is grown as a vegetable crop; both leaves and petioles are used for food.
