Ceres F1 is a green leaf chard variety that forms an upright rosette with thick, high-density leaves. The seeds of the variety are monogerm. The plant is characterized by a mid-early maturity group and high leaf uniformity.

The variety possesses resistance to Cercospora leaf spot. Due to its morphological properties, it is suitable for harvesting at the baby leaf and teen leaf stages, as well as for industrial processing needs.
