The period from emergence to technical maturity is 50–60 days. The plant forms large, heavily crinkled light green or green leaves and thick fleshy petioles of white color.
The variety is resistant to diseases, heat, and short-term frosts. The leaves and petioles have a delicate, slightly sweet taste. The leaves are used in salads and soups, and the petioles are cooked like asparagus.
This variety is an heirloom variety of traditional breeding. With regular cutting of outer leaves, the plant continues to develop actively, which ensures a long harvest period.
