The plant features light green foliage and white petioles. The height of the mature plant reaches about 40 cm, with a petiole length of approximately 30 cm and a width of about 5 cm. The growth type is characterized as upright or bushy.

The variety is intended for cultivation in the summer-autumn period. The plant is characterized by uniform development, but may bolt in hot and dry weather. The variety is known under a number of European synonyms, including «Bionda di Lione 2» and «Amarilla de Lyon 2».
