The variety is early maturing: harvesting of young leaves is possible 23–35 days after sowing, and technical maturity is reached in 50–60 days. The plant has an upright habit, reaching a height of 30 to 70 cm depending on growing conditions.
The leaves have an elongated-oval shape with slight wrinkling. The petioles and veins are colored crimson-red, contrasting with the dark green leaf blade. The variety is distinguished by high germination energy and a fast growth rate.
The plant has high resistance to Cercospora leaf spot and moderate resistance to downy mildew, as well as good resistance to premature bolting. Suitable both for salad mixes in the baby-leaf phase and for culinary processing of mature plants.
