The variety is a historical representative of the leaf beet group. Mature plants reach a height of 60–70 cm. Harvesting is possible 50–60 days after sowing, and the variety is suitable for harvest at the 'baby-leaf' stage. The leaf blades have a wrinkled texture; the petioles are white and fleshy.

The plant possesses high resistance to adverse conditions and delayed flowering. The variety is versatile in use: the leaves and petioles are suitable for fresh consumption, stewing, frying, soups, and freezing. Due to its high productivity, it is widely used both in private farming and for market sales.
