The variety forms a plant 20–30 cm tall with semi-erect leaf position. The leaf blade is light green and has thin veins. The plant is sensitive to premature bolting.

The variety belongs to the heritage category and is close in characteristics to the Perpetual Spinach variety. Leaves and petioles are consumed raw or thermally processed.
