The variety belongs to the leaf chard group and differs from stalk varieties by thinner petioles and a dense leaf rosette. Leaves are dark green, smooth. The plant is characterized by compactness and readiness for the first cutting upon reaching a height of 10–15 cm.

The variety is suitable for multiple harvests from spring to autumn, provided the central part of the plant is preserved when cutting the outer leaves. It possesses good endurance, low heat requirements, and high frost resistance. The leaves are used for food similar to spinach.
