The plant has dark green, heavily blistered leaves. The petioles have a silvery-white color, and their width is about 8–10 cm.

The variety is intended for use as a vegetable crop. In documents, it also appears under the names Verte à carde blanche 3, Verde a costa bianca 3 and Verde a costa larga argentata 3.
