The plant forms dark green smooth or leathery leaves. Plant height is usually 20–40 cm, and the weight of a marketable specimen reaches 0.7–1 kg. Petioles are wide, white in color.

The vegetation period lasts from 50 to 80 days depending on growing conditions. The variety possesses resistance to bolting. Suitable for spring harvesting when grown in a cold frame or for obtaining an autumn crop when sown in summer.
