The variety is mid-season, the vegetation period lasts from 55 to 100 days. The plant forms a vigorous, large leaf rosette 40–60 cm in height. The leaves are large, dark green or yellow-green in color, with a heavily savoyed, curly surface. The petioles are wide, fleshy, and colored white or greenish-white.

The variety is undemanding, showing relative resistance to frost, short-term drought, and bolting. Leaves and petioles are used fresh, for preparing soups, sautéing, or canning. The plant is suitable for multiple cuttings during the vegetation period.
