The table beet variety «Rival» has a growing season of 90–110 to 125–135 days. The roots are characterized by a cylindrical shape, smooth surface, and a weight of 200–300 g.

The flesh of the roots is dark red, succulent, tender, with a pleasant sweet taste. Zoning in the cross-section is usually absent, but may be slightly manifested depending on growing conditions.

The variety is resistant to bolting and is relatively undemanding. It is considered universal and is suitable for fresh consumption, processing, including bunching products, and long-term winter storage.
