The variety possesses distinct resistance to root rots. It shows moderate resistance to the pathogens of Cercospora leaf spot, Fusarium rot, and sugar beet damping-off. The hybrid is also characterized by tolerance to scab, powdery mildew, and Aphanomyces rot.
