The variety is adapted for early sowing dates and a long growing season. It possesses low susceptibility to bolting, while the leaf canopy may be shorter than that of other varieties. In trials, the sugar content of the root crops was approximately 16.9–17.2%.
The variety demonstrates resistance to leaf diseases, including Cercospora leaf spot, rust, and powdery mildew. Due to its pronounced tolerance to beet cyst nematode, Daphna is recommended for use in fields with a high infection background of this pest.
