The Dioneta variety belongs to the diploid (D) type and, according to catalog classification, is monogerm (m). During agronomic trials, the variety was used to study the effect of harvest dates on yield and technological qualities, and was also used in experiments to evaluate the efficacy of fungicides against Cercospora leaf spot.
Publications do not contain detailed morphological characteristics of the plant, except for general yield indicators within the framework of specific experiments. At the current time, the variety is not commercial and has been excluded from a number of national variety lists.
