The variety is a breeding achievement from the early to mid-1980s. It possessed partial resistance to Beet necrotic yellow vein virus and was often used in scientific research of that period as a control sample when studying disease resistance.
According to the results of 1983 field trials, the sugar content of the roots of this hybrid was about 15.5%. At present, the variety is considered obsolete and appears primarily in archival agricultural plant catalogs.
