The variety belongs to the group of so-called "tropical sugar beet". It was created to expand the geography of cultivation to regions with hot climates, where conventional temperate zone varieties show insufficient efficiency.
During trials, the hybrid demonstrated tolerance to Rhizoctonia and Cercospora infestation. Root sugar content reached approximately 16.7%. Yield in tropical comparative trials was assessed as competitive in relation to other tested samples.
